Challenges of the E-commerce Era
22 JUNE 2016 | Regent Hotel | Warsaw
22 June 2016
Warsaw , Regent Warsaw Hotel

Due to the growth of online sales the retail and logistics sectors have become inseparable. Retail chains, logistics experts and owners of warehouses are increasingly interrelated.

Shopping centre tenants, which now also have online shops, currently have to focus more on logistic and warehouse solutions. For warehouse developers they are an important client, who is worth fighting for by way of offering logistic areas adjusted to their needs and enabling them to swiftly service deliveries and returns.

The functioning of traditional shopping centres is also impacted by digital revolution. Modern technologies made owners and managers of retail facilities start adjusting their offers to new, increased requirements of customers. Retail chains also have to take care of marketing and stability of their relations with clients because their business is increasingly based on the idea of omnichanneling.
